Sid: Sid Roth hear with Michelle Gold and Michelle I’m still thinking about the miracle that happened when you had the surgery that many people would never be able to sing or talk again after a surgery like that. It not only was successful but what happened to your voice?

Michelle: The amazing is that when after my dad was all worried about me; would I ever be able to sing would I ever be able to sing, would I ever be able to sing every night? We first of all Joe and I got married he mentored me in my faith as a Jewish believer. Even though he was in the church he was a kosher hearted Gentile.

Sid: This was the Youth Pastor that you met when you first went to the church go ahead.

Michelle: Yes and Joe and I fell in love with each other the whole another story in itself but the miracle was I went on a tour after that singing like 6 nights a week it was amazing. I mean that’s unheard of after I spent 13 years I could lose my voice on a cough prior to that you know. I went from losing my voice on one conversation to being able to sing every night and 2 on Sunday.

Sid: And you told me how many notes higher you could sing.

Michelle: I would say at least 8 notes higher if not 12 my voice therapist was in shock, she was amazed.

Sid: Okay you join Jews for Jesus and you go on tour with them tell me about that.

Michelle: So after the Lord healed my voice miracles of miracles. I get invited to go a tour with Jews for Jesus traveling music group called “The Liberated Wailing Wall.” And I’m thinking “This will be great because I could use everything God’s done for me and I could use my voice to sing every night on that tour and 2 times on Sunday was pretty miraculous. It was just amazing how hundreds of people came to the Lord through that tour every night when we sang we would do an altar call and the people would re-dedicate their hearts to the Lord. Even one night pastors were saved; one of them we shared the gospel on college campuses. It was amazing to see what the Lord could do when I was weak in the past and now the Lord restored everything to me and I was able to strong.

Sid: Now did you actually go out on the street with Jews for Jesus and witness?

Michelle: Yes I did, we were required you know that was one of the beautiful requirements of the tour. That they didn’t want us to be so focused on the business of music they want us to know that it’s a ministry, that we love people that we want to serve people and bring salvation and so part of that training was go out on the streets share through talking to people and interviewing people. And we always had to ask people who do you think Jesus is?

Sid: Tell me one experience on the streets.

Michelle: Gosh the best experience I had on the streets was at a college campus singing about the Lord and people coming up to me one by one just staring at me wanting and then asking me about the Lord immediately after singing. These people never would have talked to me if I hadn’t been standing there making a fool of myself singing in the middle of the sidewalk on the college campus.

Sid: Okay tell me about the vision God has put in your heart the urgency to reach Jewish people.

Michelle: Now over the years I… when I first started singing for the Lord it was a contemporary Christian kind of sound and I just thought I’m not going to talk to my own people about the Lord because frankly Sid it was so hard for me to be rejected and I didn’t like that not being liked. But when I shared my faith with Jewish people sometimes they would turn from me and I would lose the friendship. But you know the Lord started convicting me that sharing the good news is way more important than keeping a friendship intact that what good is it if I become their friends and then they don’t know about heaven and they don’t know about a better place. What if today is their last day they need to know that heavens real but forget everything else. But the Lord convicted me I had to share my faith with Jewish people one day when I was sitting down for dinner with some friends. And I said “Why do you need to go to the Jewish people so what can’t you just shard your faith with anybody everybody needs to hear the good news you know Jesus came for everyone?” And I was thinking maybe I don’t know and I got up and I started to talk to the Lord about it and He gave me He spoke to my heart very clearly and God said “If you don’t reach my Jewish people who else will, who else will go?” And I said “But Lord why are we the chosen people are we so special why are we so chosen.” And the Lord spoke to my heart “You have to reach the chosen people because we are the forgotten people.” not forgotten by God but forgotten by men nobody wants to reach the Jewish people. It was then and there I knew that I have to go and it was confirmed with the scripture of Isaiah 6 where he’s told he says “Here I am send me.” And also Romans 10:14 I love that scripture where it says “But how can they call on Him to save them unless they believe and how can they believe if they’ve never heard about Him and how can they hear unless someone tells them and how can anyone go without being sent; beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” So I knew Sid I had to go, I had to be the one to share my faith and I then wrote a beautiful album’s worth of music where I could share my faith in a way that Jewish would understand where I’m coming from.

Sid: Tell me about the song “Who Will God?”

Michelle: Well that’s just it I just realized I’ve got to share my faith with my own people there’s just no excuse times running out. I don’t know if these is going to be my last day. Sure I’m 38 but I don’t know and what about what about my friends what about my father and people in my life that need the Lord. This just can’t be it this earth can’t be it there’s more than this there’s so much more there’s another place where they’ll be no more tears and no more pain; I want them to go with them I what to go with them to that place one day I want to share my faith. I constantly pray Sid every day “Lord fill me with urgency, fill me with urgency let not disaster strike before I have an urgency to reach my people; they need to hear the good news and the church needs to know about their Jewish roots so little Jewish girls like me who walk in will know the Jewish Messiah that they need to know and they will be revival in the land. So I am hoping that if you are listening today that you’re catching my contagious compassion; my contagious passion for sharing my faith and sharing the hope I have.

Sid: Michelle Gold “Who Will Go.”

Sid: Now Michelle I’ve been in Jewish ministry for over 40 years and I can tell you I know what it’s like when there’s a move of God’s Spirit on Jewish people and I know what it’s like when there’s not a move of God’s Spirit on Jewish people. When I first got saved in the early 70’s there was an amazing move on Jewish people and many of the leaders today in the movement came to the Lord, but since that time outside of the Russian Jews there has been no big openness among Jewish people but things have changed we are hitting a major move and outpouring of God’s Spirit in Israel. And as I said that God just told me someone’s neck and back was just healed in Jesus name, and someone’s muscles in their arm. There had been a pain in your muscles you don’t have it anymore in Jesus name. What I have found is the combination of the set time to favor Zion that’s where we are right now plus understanding the supernatural. You see when I spoke almost a month ago in Jerusalem we had 550 unsaved Jewish people and they did not know I was going to talk about Jesus. They knew they were coming for a lecture on the supernatural and the minute I started speaking there was a swoosh of the Holy Spirit and many of them got instantly healed they stood up testified to the fact that they were physically healed and then listened to a full presentation of the gospel. The Bible says the Jew requires a sign the Jew requires a miracle and that’s why so many Jewish people are being swept into the New Age are being swept into the occult because no one is telling them my people about Jesus. I am all in favor or having rallies for Israel I happen to have dual citizenship I’m very pro-Israel I am all in favor of bless Israel nights and humanitarian activities towards the Jewish people. And I’ll tell you what God’s in favor and God’s going to bless you for it and I have to tell you there is an urgency to proclaim the gospel to Jewish people right now. There is a window that God has opened and woe is me if we don’t at this moment in history. But you must be mentored in moving in the supernatural…. It’s a phenomenal thing when Jewish people see the supernatural in things like Buddhism and New Age they flock. Michelle I was in Boca Raton and they have a New Age Buddhism Center just for Jewish people there and I drove by the place was filled with cars of Jewish people.

Michelle: Yeshua would be crying.

Sid: But this is the set time I want you listening right now I want you equipped to move in the supernatural we’re about ready to see the greatest miracles the world has ever seen. And I’m going to tell you one more thing when you reach out to a Jewish person… look when you are pro-Israel when you got to a bless Israel rally, when you give money for Jewish humanitarian activities you have already found out God will bless you. But how much more is God going to bless you when give a Jewish person the most important thing they could ever have. Michelle do you know about the increase in anti-Semitism that is going on throughout the world right now in Paris, France and in Ukraine Jewish people can’t wait to get out and come to Israel.

Michelle: My goodness I’m praying and you know they say the greatest defense the greatest way to offend the Jewish person is to not share about heaven and not share about Yeshua that He’s the way, the truth and the life you know. Everybody is so politically correct it just breaks my heart, it breaks my heart that we would hold back on great news like that there’s a better place.

Sid: Now God is really expanding your gifting and I believe that you could sing a song that God is going to give you right now with a word from God no music, would you do that right now?

Michelle: Amen. (Michelle worshiping) Oh Father God bless your people use them, use us Lord God because mighty vessels Lord God. And I just feel that somebody’s out there you need to be dipped in the waters of God; you’ve been like Naman you’ve been saying “No” but God is saying “Yes.” Dip yourself in the water of God there is healing there and you’re going to be touched right now thank You Lord for healing that person listening thank You Father God.

Sid: And I’m hearing that God is healing joints whether it’s your elbow or your hip any joint area, fingers the pain is gone it’s being removed in Jesus Name. Michelle I know that Yeshua is your life tell me about the time someone tried to assault you on a train in New York City.

Michelle: I was on the F train in New York City at 4:13 in the afternoon. I happened to be reading 2 Corinthians 4:13 about professing your faith in the Lord. Well I had been doubting Yeshua once again was He really the Messiah and I needed to know. And I had been falling asleep reading my Bible and heard this voice say “Wake up, wake up!” And I kept waking up and all of a sudden I stood up from my seat and a man that looked like something like 6’3” wrapped his arm around my neck and started to proceed to kill me. And my whole life flashed before my very eyes and the authority of the Lord that I had just received from reading that word came over me. It was amazing the voice I didn’t even recognize the voice that came out of me as he was pinching against my neck. And I said “In the name of Jesus back off.” And the man completely backed off. I was in my 20’s I had a lot of expensive things on me I was completely untouched the man did not touch me he completely let me go I walked.. the train happened to stop at that moment you know it had just gone through a tunnel I could have been with the man a long time it just stopped and it opened up and he watched me walk off. And you know what I was so filled with the faith of the Lord I then turned around and proceeded to rebuke him in the name of the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit (Laughing). I was so shaken up with praise I immediately fell down to the platform and started praising God. (Laughing) That night we didn’t cancel our Bible study we told all the youth in our youth group about what the Lord had done and their faith we increased. It was pretty awesome and not only that I saw God heal my relationship with my mom I saw Him heal her bipolar. He did an amazing miracle on her and she’s been an awesome Mom to me the most positive person in my life. Gosh I had a car accident I spun around 3 times hit a wall came out saying “Hallelujah praise the Lord” stood up no pain. God’s done so much for me it’s amazing.

Sid: Michelle I want you to give us one last thought what is God telling you to tell us right now?

Michelle: I feel the Lord is telling us to actually you know I was reading your book recently and I’m not saying this to bring glory to anybody Sid but I’m with you 100%. I think it is time for the Body of Messiah to receive and to be blessed with the supernatural move of God. We have to embrace it it cannot be life as usual it cannot be church as usual we need the supernatural move of God even if you’re not going to jump up and down scream kind of person, you can experience the supernatural in the peacefulness in your seat right now in your congregations. And we need to embrace those Biblical feasts because we need to provoke the Jewish people to jealousy it is time for such a time as this let’s not waste anymore time. We need to get on board with the Spirit of the living God people are hungry, they’re thirsty let us go into God’s presence and let us move in the supernatural and draw close to Him and bring His people home to Him.

Sid: Now I don’t know if those listening can feel what I can feel right now but there is an overwhelming presence of God in this studio. I believe that as I proclaim the name of Yeshua as I’m going to do in one moment whatever condition you have put your hand if you have a heart problem put your hand on your heart. If you have a pain like on your neck or wherever your pain is whether you have diabetes or whatever put your hand on your body and this is what the Bible says “Those that believe will lay hands on the sick,” you believe your laying hands on the sick and it says “They will recover.” So when I  count to three I’m going to say “Yeshua” and your receive it 1, 2, 3 Yeshua be whole in Yeshua’s name.

Sid: My guest Dave Roberson speaking to him at his headquarters at Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dave doesn’t know this but we have a mess in our computer program. I mean a first class mess and a woman came applied for work that had worked for a major ministry and she had more credentials than I would ever need and I knew that God sent her. So I offered her the job and she aid “Well let me pray about it.” She goes home she calls me and she says “I can’t work for you.” And I said “Why can’t you work for me?” She said “Because I saw your webpage and I saw you believe in speaking in tongues and laughing in the Spirit and miracles; now I believe in healing but I don’t believe all those things.” She’d been listening to a man on the radio that didn’t know what he’d been talking about and she adopted his philosophy. So I said “Well come on in and when she came to the office I said “Listen whether you work for me or not I know God sent you here for a purpose.” And so I gave her a couple of videos of… I gave her one of the Smithton Outpouring that I had moderated and then I gave her a book called “The Walk of the Spirit the Walk of Power” the vital role of praying in tongues. So she thanked me for these things and I didn’t know if I ever hear from her again but she went home she watched the videos, she read every word of the book “The Walk of the Spirit the Walk of Power,” She calls me the next day and she said “Sid I don’t understand this but I have completely changed all of my thinking on praying in tongues and I believe that I’m supposed to work for you.” Now she’s doing a marvelous job but I’ve never seen someone from Dave from that type of a mindset just reading a book and just having a transformation like that.

Dave: Sid the book was 2 years alone in editing 2 years. About 4 or 5 years I got moved into the Spirit one day and I began to He said “Son” the Lord was talking to me in a season of prayer and He says He said “The book is going to, the book I’ve given you is going to going to do a work in the Body of Christ in the last day.” He said “It’ll have an anointing to change people’s lives that read it and it’ll change the very foundation they walk in from not walking in power to walking in power; it’ll change the very foundation of even error in doctrine because the mysteries that you’re praying when your praying in tongues is the mystery of everything Christ is in you to you the hope of glory. When the Father is able to answer this then the Holy Spirit is able to begin to feed to your spirit revelation knowledge and truth.”

Sid: But David let me read to you what my producer wrote about your book in my notes and keep in mind her job is to read as many good Christian books as possible and she does this and she does it well; this is what she wrote about your book for me she said All I can say this is the best spiritual book I’ve read in years; he says things about speaking in tongues that I’ve never heard anyone explain so clearly. Now keep in mind this woman is charismatic and has been a believer over 25 years and to make a statement like that but help me out Dave. I understand why some people believe you should not speak in tongues in churches obviously I don’t agree with them that I understand. But you know what I don’t understand, is most charismatic churches today very few of the members even pray in tongues that I don’t understand. It’s all most like a new generation has grown up that missed the original move of the charismatic moment and they really don’t understand the necessity and the life changing experience by praying in unknown tongues. Are you bumping into this yourself?

Dave: Oh yes and I think I understand it, there’s an advantage of praying in the Spirit and He starts feeding these mysteries to you and that’s where all of this came from. But the early church the high literacy rate one of the main sources of teachers even was the prophets and they operated of course under the foundation and revelation of the apostle. But when He said about prophesying and one stands by and let him judge and the others wait their turn and God is not the author of confusion. That the kind of prophesying he was talking about was the kind that when they were able to receive a mystery from God and they would come and it was a lot of the fruit of the church. Paul gave a glimpse into his private prayer life when he says “Look in church he says I’d speak the language I’d rather that you’d understand so you could receive also 10,000 words in the unknown tongue.” Then Paul also gave a glimpse into his private prayer life when he says “That I thank my God that I speak in tongues more than you all.” And what he was really saying is “I thank my God that I pray more in the mysteries that encompass the understanding of Christ than all of you.” He says “But yet in church I’d rather be speak in the language you speak that you might understand also the revelation that I’ve been receiving from praying the 10,000 words in the unknown tongue. So praying in tongues to Paul was a real source of revelation knowledge and the devil knew that. They didn’t have copies of the New Testament when the churches were first forming. And so he knew that to kill their revelation that he’d have to kill the effectiveness of this one particular revelation gift which is praying in tongues. So of course he pushed it into the dark ages but the devil walks with same fear of this real simple gift as he did then. He knows that if a charismatic person will start praying any amount at all in tongues in intervention that God is going to be astounding. They’re going to find His plan, they’re going to start understanding the moves of the Spirit and this would be the last thing that the devil would want them to find out. So as a master strategy, a master of deception and seduction, he won’t tell them if their already filled and being charismatic he won’t tell them “Don’t have this experience if they’re that far along” he’ll just convince them not to pray or down play the effectiveness or fight very very hard anybody with any revelation that’s on it. A lot of people will say “Well you will pray too much in tongues and you’ll get weird.” Well Sid I knew a lot of people that were weird and prayed too much in tongues and ended up getting sane and not weird. But he fights it because it takes the ceilings off of people’s lives.

Sid: Well the fact is that many of us will pray in unknown tongues and not have one spiritual feeling and then say “Well I don’t feel anything so maybe it’s not so effective.” Did you have many feelings when you started praying long periods of time in tongues?

Dave: No Sid sometimes I’d have some but sometimes my emotions would even be fought. I got… feel negative feelings it’s the only reason that I stayed in because of the vision you know and I made a commitment not because of what I was feeling. But since then I can make this statement boldly “If you want edification pray in tongues.” The book will tell you all the forms that you build up and got it. But for feelings you know worship God I’ll worship God. But edification doesn’t necessarily come in the form of feelings.

Sid: What does edification mean?

Dave: Edification is to build yourself up into God by understanding his word or through anointings that will come to cause you to understand above the things that Jesus said you’re free from. And answer the things that He said you can have. Edification is a process that takes place that delivers you out and into.

Sid: I’m going to ask you a very difficult question. Is it possible in your opinion to be baptized in the Holy Spirit and not be given the ability to pray in unknown tongues?

Dave: Sid I believe that the strongholds can be erected right on the mind. And the Holy Spirit creates the words in our spirit and so our mouth will try to shape what He’s creating to finish the circuit of prayer. If they’ve got a block or been taught against it but as far as letting Him step in a block will rise up and they’ll get fear when that manifestation begins to come. So personally I believe that they can get short circuit just short of tongues.

Sid: Yes but in the book of Corinthians it says “Do all speak in tongues?”

Dave: That was part of the gifting he listed “Do all work miracles or all healing?” He was talking about the qualifying gifting of the Holy Spirit. Then he said “Do all interpret?” And that particular gifting for the edification of the body he was speaking “Would all have the tongues for interpretation in a public assembly?”

Sid: So where people miss it there are different types of tongues. There’s the private devotional but then there’s the tongue for a public assembly.

Dave: That’s right.

Sid: So he was talking about all the gifts in the public assembly not the private devotional prayer language that throws a lot of people for curves because they think all tongues are the same, and that wherever Paul’s talking about it he’s talking different rules for different types of tongues.

Dave: That’s correct. And in fact this book “The Walk of the Spirit the Walk of Power” it’ll set you so free. The testimony you gave Sid boy we have testimonies of people that fought day and night almost. And the book took such a hold of them that built such faith in the Spirit. One guy threw it against the wall 5 different times only to go pick it up again and ended up baptized in the Holy Spirit in an avid prayer service.

Sid: But you know what I see something that’s even better and what I see is although the book is wonderful for someone fighting it to get all of the answers I see the book for someone that already is baptized in the Holy Spirit and prays in unknown tongues to push them into that next level there was an anointing to push them there.

Sid: On yesterday’s broadcast I pointed out to what is God’s law of evangelism go to the Jew first, use signs and wonders and it opens up a supernatural door of evangelism to all people. And I told you that I’d been Jewish believer in the Messiah for over 30 years and the Holy Spirit is showing me that if you’ll understand me you’ll understand my people. I’m a classic American Jew my father born in Poland, my mother Rochester New York. And I was raised in a home that went to a traditional Jewish synagogue. I’ll tell you my first anti-Semitic recollections, we would go to the beach and at the beach that we went to there was sign and it said “No dogs, or Jews, or (It didn’t say the word blacks but it did say the “N” word) allowed.”
Isn’t it interesting that the devil, and that’s who did that sign, loves Jews and African Americans together. I don’t believe that’s an accident that the devil, the Ku Klux Klan, the anti-Semites all lump Jews and African American’s together.
I’ll tell you what the Holy Spirit’s been showing me there is a special destiny between African American Christians and Jews. Why do you think there seems to be hostility between Jew and African Americans in many large US cities? It’s the devil that’s causing this knowing that there’s a destiny a special call on African Americans to reach out to Jewish people. In the civil rights days whose blood was shed along with African Americans in the forefront of these marches? You look it over you’ll see it was Jews that went arm and arm we shall overcome remember that? Anyway Holy Spirit wanted you to know that.
I also know something else that the next great move of God’s Spirit it’s going to start in Israel and it’s going to touch Hispanic Jews. There’s something going on in the Spirit with Hispanic Jews we’re going to see them coming to the Lord as quickly as Russian Jews have been coming to the Lord. So I didn’t have a great deal of anti-Semitism but I can tell you although I didn’t have a great deal of anti-Semitism being raised there was something in my blood in my genes if you will that had a them and us mentality. And worse we Jews are superior to you Gentiles and you Gentiles there’s something wrong with this Jesus; there’s something wrong with this Christianity and if you asked me I could not give you an answer I didn’t know anything about Jesus.
I’ll tell you about what my great source book for Jesus was one day I was reading a book and at the top of the book was “Ripley’s Believe it or Not His Most Amazing Facts.” So I went through and I found it pretty interesting and I found one that got me outraged. I remember running to my mother and saying “The nerve of the Mr. Ripley look what he says he says ‘Jesus is Jewish!’ How in the world…” because again it was the them and us and I didn’t see anything Jewish about Christians, I didn’t see anything Jewish about Jesus, I didn’t see anything the Christians had that I wanted to be quite candid with you I didn’t know anything. I didn’t know about the anti-Semitism over the centuries, I didn’t know anything about Jesus, I never read the New Testament. Tell you the truth I had never even read the Old Testament, oh I knew the Bible stories and I knew how to read Hebrew didn’t understand a word of what I was reading. But something in me, something deep within me had a separation, or as the Bible calls it a middle wall of separation between myself and Gentiles.
So you got to understand this you would bump into a Jewish person like me and I have to tell you I was turned off with the hypocrisy of the synagogue. I would only go on High Holidays. Why? To please my parents God wasn’t in the equation it had nothing to do with God I would go for social reasons or to please my parents not for God. And oh I was told “Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, we Jews fast and pray that our sins are forgiven” but I wasn’t even sure about anything personal with God I wasn’t sure about happened when you died. I didn’t even think about things like that.
So even though I was turned off on religion of Judaism, even though I was never thinking about God if you would come up to me as I’m reminded one Christian came up to my father and started witnessing when he found out he was my father my dad, I tell you that Christian might never witness again after my father got through with him. Although I didn’t understand any of that I was zero interested in Jesus I had bought the lie. And the lie is “You can’t be Jewish and believe in Jesus.” But the better statement is that’s almost like saying “You can’t be Jewish and believe in the Messiah.” And you know… you want to hear something crazy “If you won’t believe the truth you believe the lie.” There’s a whole group of Jewish people they’re Chasidic Jews they’re a sect called Lubavitcher and they believe, I mean in New York alone there’s like 100,000 of them. They believe that the Messiah was their rabbi who died and he’s coming back from the dead, his name was Schneerson. Now there’s some good news and some bad news with that the good news is for the first time a group of Jewish people are actually believing what the Bible has to say that the Messiah would rise from the dead that’s good. The bad news is they have the wrong Messiah it wasn’t Schneerson we know as a fact Schneerson never even went on a trip to Israel let alone lived in Israel. And the Jewish prophet Micah tells us where the Messiah would be born; He’d be born in Bethlehem, of course there were 5 Bethlehems at the time Jesus was born. So that’s why Micah said “He’d be born in Bethlehem of Judea.” Jesus just happened to be born in Bethlehem of Judea.
So don’t get the idea that just because I don’t like the hypocrisy I see in the synagogue as much as you don’t like the hypocrisy you see perhaps in churches don’t get the idea because I don’t care for the religion of Judaism; don’t get the idea that I’m not proud of being a Jew. Don’t get the idea that I don’t want to be a Jew; listen God put something in Jewish people’s DNA I’m convinced of this. And if you could you know those little doll babies you punch in the stomach and they something well if I well if I was one of those doll babies and you punched me in the stomach this is what would come out of my mouth. “I was born a Jew and I will die a Jew.” It’s an instinct don’t ask me why I can just tell you that that is inside of me. So you may think I’m not so interested in being Jewish because of my attitude towards religion but you’re wrong, get that and get that straight. I was born a Jew and I will die a Jew and even as a believer in Jesus which I am, and even as a sold-out believer in Jesus and let me tell you something if I had a choice of being Jewish or being a believer in Jesus I would take being a believer in Jesus any day. But I’d still have that tape recording inside of me. Because it came from God and if you really want to understand that if you turn to Jeremiah the 31st chapter you can find out exactly why that’s inside of me, why God did it. Listen to this, Jeremiah chapter 31 verse 35 “Thus says the Lord who gives the sun for light by day and the ordinances of the moon and the stars for light by night; who disturbs the sea and it’s waves roar the Lord of hosts is His name; if those ordinances depart from before me says the Lord then the seed of Israel shall also cease from being a nation before me forever.” In other words, what is God saying when you don’t see the waves in the sea and the stars and the sun and the moon and the natural order of things you will not see the Jew. But as long as you see the natural order of things on planet earth there will be a physical Jew on planet earth. And I’ll tell you one of the greatest proofs that the Bible is from God or one of the greatest proofs that the Bible is not from God involves the Jew. If there were not Jews on the face of this earth then the Bible would be a fraud a phony. But against impossible odds when you think about it for a moment in the year 70 AD we lost our temple and then we lost our city and then we lost our country and then we were scattered to the four corners of the earth. And as a matter of fact here let me read something to you, Deuteronomy chapter 28 tells you exactly what was going to happen to us it says “It shall be (I’m starting in the last part of 63rd verse) and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess and then the Lord will scattered you from all people from one end of the earth to the other and there you shall serve other gods which neither you or your fathers have known wood and stone. And among those nations you shall find no rest nor shall the soul of your foot have a resting place but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart failing eyes, anguish of soul and your life shall be in doubt before you. You shall fear day and night and have no assurance of life. In the morning you shall say ‘Oh that it was evening” and in the evening you shall say ‘Oh that it was morning’ because of the fear which terrifies your heart.” And this has been the history of my Jewish people. We’re out of time right now I’ll pick up right here.

SID: You know what I love about Robbie, anything he can do, you can do better. He teaches this step by step and then he immediately takes people out on the street. You know, you talk about it as if that’s almost normal.

ROBBY: It’s supposed to be. It’s supposed to be normal. That’s what we’re called to do.

SID: But is it when you’re with the people you’re with?

ROBBY: You know, I believe it is. After we go through the training and then take them out they see it happen. There’s a reality because God wants to do it.

SID: Okay. I’m taking you on an airplane. You’re seated next to a woman. She is Jewish. She does not know the Messiah. Take it from there.

ROBBY: Yeah. She turns and looks at me, which I get this question a lot, “What do you do for a living?”

SID: I take a cup, a sip of water. Don’t say that.

ROBBY: She said, “What do you do for a living?” And so I looked at her and I told her, I said, “I have the greatest job in the whole world.” I said, “I get to travel the world and I get to equip people on knowing how to do healing by the power of Jesus and to see the power, you know, come, and drugs be healed, give you words of knowledge, give you understand for people’s lives, breaking demonic power and for people to experience the tangible presence of God.” And I said, “It’s the greatest job in the world.” And she looks at me and she goes, “Oh you’re one of those faith healers, are you?” And she goes, “Nah,” she goes, “I don’t believe in that.” She goes, “I’m sure you do some good for somebody somewhere,” and she goes, “but I don’t believe in any of that.” She goes, “I’m Jewish.” She goes, “I go to temple periodically, but I don’t believe in any of that stuff.” She goes, “But I’m sure you do some good.” I looked at her and I said, “Okay.” And so I said, “Well I’ll tell you what, are you in pain right now?” And she goes, “Excuse me?” And I said, “Are you in pain right now?” I said, “A matter of fact, in the middle part of your back, do you have a degenerating disc right here and you’re in pain right now?”

SID: How did you know that?

ROBBY: It just came to me and it’s trusting that when it comes. I’m just asking. All they could do is say, no, you’re wrong. Okay, move on, so what.

SID: Okay.

ROBBY: So I said it again. She goes, “No.” She goes, “I have a bulging disc there.” And I said, “All right, sometimes I get it wrong, but you’re in pain.” She said, “Yeah.” And I said, “And it’s right there.” She said, “Yeah.” And so I said, “Here’s the deal.” I said, “You let me pray for you.” Her name was Marcy. I said, “Marcy, you let me pray for you right now. Jesus is going to completely heal your back because he wants you to know how much he loves you and cares about you, and want a relationship with you.” I said, “So will you let me pray for your back?” And she goes, “What do I have to do?” And I said, “Well just find where the pain hits the hardest.” She said, “It hurts like that.” I said, “Okay. So whatever pain you feel there that’s 10.” She goes, “Try 13.” I said, “Well let’s stay with 10.” And so I said, “I’m about to pray Jesus is going to heal your back.” So I prayed, “Father, I thank you for your healing power and I thank you for Marcy. But the authority of Christ I command these bulging discs to stop bulging, pain to go, inflammation go down. Right now I command this back to be healed so Marcy will know how much Jesus loves her and cares about her, and wants a relationship with her.” And she, and I said, “Now Marcy, check your back.” She goes, “You don’t understand, this has been going on for 18 years.” And I said, “Would you just check.” And she arches her back, and she goes. And I said, “Well?” And she goes, “It’s a 3.” And I said, “So it went down from a 10 to a 3.” And she goes, “Yeah.” And I said, “Can I pray again?” And she goes, “Yeah.” And so I prayed again, said the exact same thing again, and it goes to a zero. And I said, “Give me a number.” And she goes, she checks it and she goes, “I think it’s a zero. Let me out.” And so I was sitting on the aisle. I move aside. She goes out and she puts her palms, standing straight, she reaches down and puts her palms flat on the floor and she turned around and looked at everybody sitting, I had been upgraded to first class and I was sitting beside her. And she turns around and she looks at everybody, and she goes, “This man just prayed for my back and Jesus just healed my back right now.”

SID: You know, she reminds me, my Jewish mother used to go around, she was the best sales person for me to pray for all of her unsaved Jewish friends, and she wasn’t even a believer. That’s what Marcy sounds like. But it gets even better. Marcy gets saved. People on the plane rededicate their life. Marcy is running up and down the aisle telling people, “He’ll pray for you, you’ll get healed.” But I need you to pray for our people right now. I want you to pray the presence of God come on them.

ROBBY: Yes.

SID: And they be healed and mobilized right now.

ROBBY: Yes. Father, I just thank you for your power. And by the authority of Christ, right now we just release that manifest presence of Jesus Christ, right now, just to go everyone viewing this, everyone right now just for the feel of the tingling, the heat, the reality of God’s presence. It’s there right now. In the name of Jesus be filled with that. And there are some that don’t know, you’re just like, I’m not quite sure about this, but you’re feeling it right. That’s Jesus inviting you to a relationship, just like he was inviting Marcy, and he’s saying, come and know me right now, by the authority of Christ. And some believers who are like, I’ve never been sure about this, but you’re feeling that manifest presence, you’re feeling the reality and he’s letting you know he’s here, he’s real and he wants to use you to do this. So right now we just declare that, we just release that by the authority of Christ to be filled with that right now in Jesus’ now, right now. As a matter of fact, a lady’s shoulder is being healed in Jesus’ name. Father, we thank you for that by your authority in Jesus’ name, be made whole by the authority of Christ in Jesus’ name.

SID: And if you have not made Jesus your Messiah and Lord, now is the acceptable time. Ask him to forgive of your sins and be your Lord, and live inside of you. Do it now out loud.

SID: Hello. Sid Roth here. Welcome. Welcome to my world where it’s naturally supernatural. I love it. When I was a brand new Jewish believer a little over 40 years ago, I had the privilege of meeting a woman by the name of Kathryn Kuhlman. I saw miracles and precise words of knowledge that in all candor I haven’t seen to that degree since. But there was a young man just recently saved. And this young man went to the meeting of Kathryn Kuhlman, and he saw something in her he had never seen before. He saw such intimacy with God, with the Holy Spirit. He wanted it desperately, and he got it. His name is Benny Hinn and he says that he has learned secrets that everyone can have that same relationship with the Spirit of the Living God that Miss Kathryn Kuhlman had. You know, what I found out is that it’s almost like, Benny, it’s almost like the devil has some sort of sense that God has a call on someone’s life and tries to sabotage them before they even get started. For instance, I never knew this, but you had a stuttering problem, and not only that, your teachers and your father said that you were a hopeless case by age [?]. But, now you were raised in a Greek Orthodox family, born in Israel. Boy, you’re provoking me to jealousy, not the stuttering but born in Israel. And at 11, you know nothing about, really, Jesus beyond religion. But you had a visitation. What happened?

PASTOR BENNY: You know, in the eastern culture to have a daughter first is a shame. So my mother had married into a very difficult family. My dad’s family were not very nice people. They’re much nicer today, but anyway. And they persecuted my mom for having a girl first. She had just married my daddy and my sister Rose was born, and shame, shame, shame on my mom. So she prayed. She had Greek, you know, Greek Orthodox woman, prayed to the Lord. Now she wasn’t saved and she said, “Lord,” she said, “If you give me a son I will give him back, I will give him back to you.” Just like Hannah. The Lord heard her, surprisingly. And so when I was just a little boy, I keep saying, 11, my mom says I was younger, but anyway, it doesn’t matter. I saw the Lord come to me. I’ll never forget that. And when He looked at me with an amazing heavenly smile, I don’t know how else to describe the smile except pure love. But when I woke up I could not move. I was just frozen. Every part of me was overpowered by this heavenly electricity.

SID: Now remember, he’s about 11 years of age. He can’t put any paradigm on what has occurred.

PASTOR BENNY: Exactly.

SID: But he felt something. He felt this electricity. And then he went to a meeting, I believe it was in high school, and he felt that same presence at the meeting, and he got saved. And you would have thought everything would be wonderful after that. But he gets home and he’s so in love with Jesus, and his parents didn’t like it. In fact, your father, what did he say to you?

PASTOR BENNY: My father sent me to a psychiatrist.

SID: I didn’t know that.

PASTOR BENNY: Oh no, he did. I still remember they plugged my head with all kinds of plugs. They thought something was wrong with me. So a few years after when we had immigrated to Canada — now remember this happened, when I saw the Lord, happened in [unintelligible]. But then in ’68, we immigrated to Canada. In Canada, I heard about the Lord for the first time. How sad I had to go to Canada to learn about Jesus. Anyway—

SID: You would think in Israel, I suppose.

PASTOR BENNY: In Israel, I thought that the Lord was Catholic. But anyway, so you go to Canada, where I discovered that the Lord was really alive. And in high school when I got saved, February 14, 1972, at 7:50 in the morning, to be exact, I felt that same electric current go through me, and then I connected it everything together. And the Lord just became very real to me in a very different way.

SID: But God used the persecution he went through. He, you know, he’s kind of withdrawn because of his stutter. His father can’t stand him because of his fanatic belief in Jesus. So he spent most of his time in his room reading the Bible, thousands of hours. He hears about Miss Kuhlman. He decides to take a bus ride to Pittsburgh. You’re standing, there’s where I want to take you, you’re standing outside in a line.

PASTOR BENNY: I was wrapped up like an Eskimo, it was so cold, and I began to tremble.

SID: It was so cold.

PASTOR BENNY: Well no, no, no. I was not cold. I was all wrapped up. I just began to tremble. I thought, at first, I was cold. But it was not a cold feeling, you know, at all. And we ran in to get a seat and then as I sat there with my coat off, hat off, gloves off, all that, I’m still trembling, and I trembled more inside than outside.

SID: It was the Spirit of God that was causing it.

PASTOR BENNY: Well I did not know that until I sat down. Yeah, I mean, because this was so new to me. When she came on the platform, it’s very hard to describe it to someone who had not been to Miss Kuhlman’s meetings, there was such a substance of the Lord, the only way I can say it, where you felt, strongly felt His person, not just the atmosphere, but His person. And as she came on, I was so taken by it, and so amazed and awed, I couldn’t even move, hardly breathe, because the overwhelming presence of the person of Jesus was there. And now I’m just weeping. I mean, how can you not weep at that amazing presence. And I felt, I had my arms up because they were singing, and I did not even know the song, “How Great Thou Art.” So I’m trying to sing it and I feel a breeze. So I looked around, I thought something over at the window. This was December. It was cold out there. No windows were open. But I felt this breeze go by, very gentle breeze. And at that point, I’ll never forget, I said, “Dear Jesus.” And that was the first time I think I ever called him Dear Jesus. I said, “Dear Jesus, have mercy on me.” I heard his voice so clear, and now it explains much of what’s happened to me in the last 40 years. He said, “My mercy is abundant on you.” And then I felt this overpowering love just go through me, and I felt a tingle go with it.

SID: I’ll tell you what, hold that thought. When we come back, I want to tell you how that same presence that was on Miss Kuhlman apprehended Benny, and even better, how it’s going to apprehend you. We’ll be right back.

Sid: Now in addition to myself and my guest Dr. James Maloney, Professor at Christ for the Nations who travels the nations because he has the most amazing prophetic and miracle ministry. But it’s the greatest miracle is that this man survived that he didn’t end up in a penitentiary or mentally insane or dead because just a baby he was neglected because his mother didn’t have the money to support him. And his mother’s husband wasn’t his father came back from penitentiary and just would beat him and smash and step on his face and beat him against the wall. Finally fortunately he was adopted by a family that loved him. But as a teenager he rebelled and almost understandable with a background like that. And finally 14 years of age 1970 I guess Jim I don’t know what was going on in your life but you must have been a pretty desperate youngster.

James: Yes Sid I was desperate a lot like many teenagers my adoptive parents were wonderful people, but they were hard working people they were gone an awful lot and so I had a lot of woundings because of the early years. And I couldn’t figure out why my biological mom didn’t love me enough to keep me and you know various questions that many people have.

Sid: Sure.

James: And so I just was very desperate by the time I’d turned 14 years of age I was rejected, wounded even suicidal I didn’t want to live anymore there was a lot of confusion a fear. There was a lot of activity I see now, I didn’t know back then, but in the area where I grew up in Southern California there was a lot of demonic activity and occult operations because it was an area that was strong in spiritism and this mysticism so that didn’t help me either. So when I was 14 it was December of 1970 I was very very desperate and I needed to know the reality of God and I needed to know I was loved for who I was, and I needed the acceptance. And even though my adoptive parents as I said Sid gave me as much as they could they were just gone a lot and hard working people and so we were neglected and I have some what the time we wanted to spend more with them and I have a sister who is younger who is about 3 years of age and so we were just very very desperate and so I cried out. It was December 31^st and I just cried out to God I said “God if You’re real You’re just going to have to reveal yourself to me because I don’t think I can live another day.” And I was very desperate and the Lord knew that if He did not answer my cry for acceptance I wouldn’t be here today and He wonderfully answered that.

Sid: Tell me how He answered that.

James: Well you know if someone usually, and I’ve traveled all over the world Sid and I’ve shared this in conferences and Full Gospel Businessman’s Meetings and regional conventions of this and that and so it’s just touched 1000’s of people. And it’s very supernatural because somehow I wept myself to sleep it was December 31, 1970 as I shared with you. January 1^st when I was awakened it was very early in the morning and sun had not yet come up and I was laying in bed and I woke up and all of a sudden I felt that someone was standing in my room. I know that it’s kind of hard to describe and someone was standing there in my room and I begin to shake. I wasn’t fearful because whoever was standing in my room there was a sense of peace and a sense of warmth and acceptance. My eyes were really tightly closed because I didn’t want to look to see who it was, but then I got like most young people I go very curious and so I opened up one eye and I just sort of peaked over to the left and I lifted my head up off of the pillow a foot or so and I looked down on the floor to the left side of my bed and I noticed that there was like this glow this light that began to spread. And wherever this light begin to spread Sid it just covered the area where it was you couldn’t see the carpet, you couldn’t see the wall as it began to rise up right in front of me. This light, this glory I can’t describe it correctly I mean I’ve shared this many many times and I cannot fully articulate the light and the glory of the Lord. But I knew that whoever was in that light the thought came to me that it was a person of royalty. And so what I did was I figured you know if it’s a person of royalty He deserves that I get out and kneel in front of Him. And so that’s what I did I got out of the bed and I knelt in front of this light, I didn’t see anyone at that time in the light. And as I just looked into that light it was kind of interesting because I felt compelled to just reach out and so I reached out my hands towards that light and that light penetrated my hands and literally went into that light. I just have to stop and say this I mean every time I share this I just get somewhat choked up because you know it was an experience that changed my life. But as I reached out into that light I always say this when I share this, that if you know that if Krishna would have been in that light I would have worshipped Krishna, if Buddha had been in that light I would have worshipped Buddha. But it wasn’t Buddha or Krishna because when I put my hands on into that light I looked down right in front of me I looked between my arms and there were two hands that came out towards me. And I looked into those hands and I knew immediately that they were the hands of Jesus. Jesus spoke to me and He said “I heard your cry for acceptance and I’ve heard your cry for reality.” And He said something Sid that just forever changed my life He said “I love you the way that you are.” And that touched me powerfully because I had spent a lifetime striving for love and acceptance. That wounding of rejection the fear, the torment the first 2½ years of my life many times because of their lifestyle my natural mother and her husband they would take me and throw me in the closet and they would just shut the door and lock it and sometimes I would stay there a whole day even 2 days at a time. And you know I don’t’ even remember the beatings but I do remember being in that closet and sense of isolation and that engulfing of darkness that just penetrated my soul and I would just sit in that closet just weeping and crying and wanting that acceptance why isn’t someone here to open up the door. And so there was a tremendous fear of rejection. And so when Jesus spoke that to me and said “I love you just the way that you are” I’ve got a purpose is what He was saying. I was gloriously touched in my inner man and…

Sid: Would you do something right now there’s someone listening right now that needs to hear that and the truth is that God loves them as much as He loves you.

James: Oh He does Sid.

Sid: Now will you speak on behalf of the Lord and say that to someone listening right now?

James: I definitely will share that to the people that are listening to this program. I just want you to open your heart because Jesus is one that shows no respecter of persons He loves you as much as He loves me and He wants to minister to you as He touched me. And I believe that one of the reasons why God gave me this encounter was to have a faith, a childlike faith, to reach out to people that are hurt, wounded and bruised. I know somebody that are listening your laboring under tremendous torment and fear. Maybe you’ve been abused physically, even sexually a sensing of neglect, Jesus is our great physician. The Bible says that He heals the brokenhearted He binds up the wounds and so I just want you to reach out just as Jesus answered my cry for acceptance you open up your heart to Him His ear the Bible says is open to your cry. And I’m going to pray for you right now in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord You’re the great therapist, You’re the great healer, You’re the one that restores people’s souls. As these precious people are listening to this program I ask as they’re opening their heart now and crying out to You for acceptance that You would hear their cry and that the anointed of the Holy Spirit would break every yoke of bondage that every fear, every sense of torment and rejection would be eradicated and that Your healing balm would be applied within their hearts, their souls. And Lord You see the tears, You know their hearts cry, You know what they’ve gone through let them hear as I’ve heard that their life has purpose and that Lord You love them just the way that they are You will receive them just the way that they are in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen and amen. Praise God.

Sid: I’ll tell you what the presence of God.

James: Oh, I feel it.

Sid: Can you feel that Jim?

James: I sense the presence of God.

Sid: It’s like the best way that I can describe it is that the Lord who reached out and touched Jim’s hands is reaching out right now and He’s putting His arms around you.

James: That’s right.

Sid: And He is saying “I’ve heard your prayers and I want you to know you are accepted by Me, I love you just the way you are.” And you know Jim I’m overwhelmed when I take a look at just a smidgen of how God has used you with the miraculous, but this is absolutely ridiculous in my notes it says in California that there was a woman by the name of Mary that had a pace maker and you prayed for her and you tell me what happened.

James: Well Mary is a precious lady and she was in one of our meetings and she was scheduled for heart surgery and one of the ways that the Lord uses me Sid is that sometimes He’ll give me a word of knowledge that simply means that He’ll reveal to me a person’s condition because it’s His way of Him wanting them to know that He’s there in the night and wants to heal them.

Sid: In other words you’ll know what’s wrong with them before they tell you.

James: Many times that’s correct. Of course the Holy Spirit brings it to me and I can’t just make them up but as He brings them to me and this is what happened to this lady I saw it in her. There was probably about 400 people in the service…

Sid: You know a fellow by the name of Branham used to do that.

James: Yeah Branham, William Branham was very prolific in word of knowledge very awesome in the late 40’s and early 50’s and he was used that way. So I just pointed to her and I said “Your scheduled for open heart surgery is that correct?” You know when you give a word like that Sid you’re either right or wrong. (Laughing)

Sid: Yes.

James: She said “Yes” and…

Sid: Oh I hate to do this hold that thought…

Sid: Well this is Purim week and I’ve been talking about Purim, and I’m going to speak on it all this week. At Purim time we’re instructed to read the megillah, which is the scroll of Esther and we read every word in the synagogue. I believe the book of Esther is not an end time book to the church, I believe the book of Esther is thee end time book to the church. Keep listening you’ll understand why.

One of the traits, one of the things you think about when you think about Purim is you think about joy. When I think about joy I think of the words from the book of Romans “That the kingdom of God…” Here let me read this to you, it’s Romans 14:17:

For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

You see at Purim we Jewish people we have a lot of joy, but unless we know the Messiah we don’t have the kind of joy in the Holy Spirit that the word of God is speaking about here in Romans chapter 14 verse 17.

For the kingdom of God is not…

Having the best food, the best drink, yeah you can have joy from wine but there is a joy a supernatural joy in God’s kingdom. See the problem is many people that are in God’s kingdom have one foot in God’s kingdom, and one foot in the world. We’re coming to a time in history where the devil has more demons per square inch released for anyone that is playing one foot in the world and one foot in the Lord. See there is a season, there is a time God gives people a period of grace but that time is over, that time of playing games is over because the stakes are so high we’re so close to the return of the Messiah. I mean you’ve got to choose who’s your king. Is self on your throne, or is Jesus on your throne?

Let me tell you one of the benefits of being in His kingdom, and it’s the greatest benefit in the world. You can be happy and you can have joy, you hit the lottery and win a million dollars you’re going to be real happy; you’re going to have money to buy things the rest of your life, but what good is that money if you develop a tumor of the brain that’s inoperable and cancerous? You’re dying and there’s nothing medical science can do for you. What’s going to happen if you develop AIDs? What’s going to happen if, God forbid, your wife leaves you for another man, or your husband leaves you for another woman? What’s going to happen if your kids are into drugs, they’re out on the streets selling their body and stealing? They are the children you gave your life for.

You see the most important things money can’t buy and we’re coming into a time in history where it just plain doesn’t matter because you can have all the money in the world and you’re not going to buy the most important things in life.

I mean with the biological warfare that we see all the time as far as potential terrorism could be and the cells that are within the United States. I mean, it says in the Bible:

That the age will be an age of fear in the last days. Men’s hearts failing them for what they see.

That’s what we’re seeing right now. This is the time to put both feet into God’s kingdom and then you have the King running interference for you. I like to be in God’s kingdom, I like God running interference for me. For the kingdom of God, and that’s the kingdom that I’m in is not eating and drinking the nice things of life, not that you can’t have nice things, but that not God’s kingdom. God’s kingdom is something that nice things can’t buy, it’s righteousness. It means total forgiveness of all of your sins if you have repented and believe in the blood of Yeshua, the blood of Jesus washing away your sins. It means when God looks at you He doesn’t see you He sees His Son Jesus, and you are the righteousness of God in Messiah Jesus. It means no condemnation, nothing separating you from God’s love that means being a clear vessel. It’s not something you work up; yes it’s a free will decision to will to follow God but it’s pure grace. That’s why we’re so grateful to our King.

So the kingdom of God is first of all, no condemnation, walking in righteousness, walking in purity, walking total forgiveness better than forgiveness, your sins are remitted. God remembers them no more. The kingdom of God is walking in peace. The Hebrew word for peace is shalom, which means completeness, completeness in your spirit, completeness in your soul, and completeness in your body. I like walking in shalom.

The kingdom of God is joy in the Holy Spirit, and that’s what I saw at this great Purim celebration that we had in Kiev at the world’s largest Messianic Jewish congregation that I like to call a One New Man congregation.

You see at Purim we are commanded by… in the rabbinical books we’re told we have to get drunk to the point to where we don’t know the difference between Mordechai or Haman.

So when I was conducting this Purim service several years ago in Kiev, Ukraine, I made a little joke, a toast. I had an imaginary wine glass, and I poured the wine . You just picture me pouring that wine in that glass. Then I took the glass and I said the Hebrew toast. You know what the Hebrew toast is? L’chaim! That means to life. Then I would take a drink and I would pretend like I was getting a little drunk. But guess what, all of a sudden I wasn’t pretending, the people weren’t pretending, the Spirit of God moved on us just like it did in Pentecost. Do you know what happened at Pentecost, the Hebrew word is Shavuot, the outpouring of God’s Spirit? The people acted like they were drunk but it was 9:00 in the morning, they didn’t have any alcoholic beverages, but yet their actions were as if they were intoxicated. I mean people were falling out of their chairs. They were so drunk and so happy, and let me tell you these people in Ukraine have nothing except God, and they trust God. They have faith in God, and they walk in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I say although they have nothing materially, they’re the wealthiest people in the world. Oh did we have a service.

You see another thing at this One New Man congregation that I’ve been talking about so much is the music. The music pleases God, and they use an ancient form of music it’s a Chasidic type of music, it’s called Lubavitcher music, Klezmer if you’ve ever heard that. You know I can’t describe it I just want you to hear some of their music right now.

I don’t about you but I get happy over that, but even at home we get happy over that. You know when we did that several hundred people were instantly healed. I mean instantly several hundred people just stood up and they were healed of everything imaginable. There’s something about this supernatural joy, and I’m so joyful.

Sid: My guest in the studio will stop any backslider in their tracks when they hear what happened to her. Pat you’re from Jacksonville, Florida. You had a pregnancy and you had surgery and blood pouring all over you died, and you left your body. What happened?

Pat: Well it felt like a large explosion in my head and then suddenly it was like I was being sucked like a giant vacuum cleaner into this dark dark tunnel. And then I stepped out of that tunnel and there I was in the darkest place that I had ever seen. Very frightening, off to the distance I could see God and you know Sid when you die you know that there’s a God then whether you believed it or not before. But what pierces your heart is that you are separated from Him and then the next thought comes for eternity.

Sid: But you were raised in Catholicism you knew about Jesus.

Pat: Knew about Him but you know as a child we use to go in and do the stations of the cross and see a bloody Jesus hanging on the cross. I would look at all of those things but I’d say “But that was 2000 years ago, what does that have to do with me?” And I never could figure that it had anything to do with me.

Sid: So He wasn’t relevant to you.

Pat: It wasn’t relative because I wasn’t born again.

Sid: So you went to this place the Bible calls outer darkness, it sounds terrifying.

Pat: Oh it was just terrible, awful. I don’t know whether people stay there throughout eternity or at the judgment seat of Jesus they go and then they’re cast into hell. I wouldn’t even want to be in that dark place where I was for even a moment it was…

Sid: So you came back into your body. I imagine that put the fear of God I you and you probably went back to church.

Pat: Well what happened when I came back into my body I was very disturbed for weeks and I could hardly talk. Then I began to think about what had happened to me, and to be honest it has an effect on your life you know that there’s a God and so when I went back to the Catholic church I went back in fear to be honest with you. I would go to confession on Saturday and then communion of Sunday but then on Monday I would fall again into sin. I had no control over my flesh. So I went to the Priest and I said “I’m not going to be coming back” I said “Because I don’t think that God would appreciate someone living for the devil all week and then coming to church on the weekend.” And I said “I just can’t reconcile that and I can’t be good.” Well he didn’t tell me who Jesus was, and I didn’t find out until I was about 38 years old.

Sid: Well in the mean time you were very active in politics; you actually ran for the State Legislature but you lost and it was so crushing you went into a real depression. You got into something that was just starting to get very popular at the time called the occult.

Pat: Yes, and you know those books were appearing on the supermarkets and in the pharmacies and all over the place; Jean Dixon and Edgar Casey and Author Ford and then Ruth Montgomery. So Ruth Montgomery wrote the book on Jean Dixon “A Gift of Prophecy.” And they were appearing on all of the major talk shows of that day and it made it seem just so interesting and exciting. So I would read a book and then I would try to experiment with what they were doing. Of course the devil is always there to help you to experiment in his ways. So I started doing automatic handwriting and what that is is you just let your mind go blank and then you take a pen and you just write actually the devil will move your hand.

Sid: Well that sounds something like how a Ouija board operates also.

Pat: Right, the same thing. And so one night I was in my bedroom and I was doing this automatic writing and the demon… I had always talked to one demon in that. And the demon said “We have come tonight to possess you, your children will suddenly fall over and don’t be concerned because we will take care of them and like a trance. And we’re going to come into you and possess you.”

Sid: Now when they spoke to you was it an audible voice.

Pat: No, this was automatic handwriting.

Sid: Oh, they did it through the writing, you read this

Pat: Yeah, right.

Sid: Oh my, that had to be the scariest thing.

Pat: Fear just came from my head to my head to my feet and I know that this was God you know. And I said “Oh no, you can’t possess me I won’t let you.” And they said “You will either let us come in now or we’ll come in after you go to sleep.” So I cried out “To the unknown God and I said “God I don’t know You but if you’ll protect me from this I’ll give You my life.” And by the way I did ask them if there was a devil and they said “Yes.” And I figured if there is a devil…

Sid: I wouldn’t ask these critters anything myself but you didn’t know.

Pat: I figured that if there was a devil there had to be a God see. So I cried out to the unknown God. And God…a peace came into the room and I could smell the sweet smell in my room that I’d never smelled before and I knew that it was the Spirit of God. So God began to speak into my mind and He told me to go to this prayer meeting where I had spoken to during the campaign. So I went there and while I was there they had a lending library of Christian books. So I would just pick up all of those books, a hand load of books and she said I could take them home. And the first book I read was on salvation. And I got down by my bed and gave my heart to Jesus. Then the next experience was I tried to get the Holy Spirit but couldn’t. Well because I had those blocking devils in me. And see the pattern that Jesus used was this Sid, when Mary Magdalene came to Jesus He didn’t say “Oh, believe in Me and be saved and everything’s going to be alright.” He cast 7 devils out of her and then she followed Him for the rest of her life. But see there are Christians all over this nation that need deliverance because of the things that they were involved in before they ever got saved. Like homosexuality, I have cast many homosexual spirits out of people and lesbians, and the occult and drugs, and…

Sid: And you know speaking of the occult it was big back in the mid 70’s but how much larger is it today. Let me ask you a question I don’t want to jump too far but I have to ask you this question. There’s a whole phenomena called Harry Potter, there’s all kinds of things about wizards, demons. And there on every television and they’re communicating with the dead. Is it dangerous for anyone to watch these things?

Pat: Absolutely.

Sid: The movie the Exorcist was big but this type of thing is all over the place. Why is it dangerous?

Pat: It’s aimed at 12 year old kids. And you know I had a young girl come through our ministry with her mother. She had run away from home and was Go-Go dancing in a nude bar. Her mother found out where she was and she got her and brought her over to our old church. So the girl didn’t want us to touch her, she would not let us lay our hands on her because she was loaded with devils. But at one point I put my hand on her mother and the mother fell to the floor and a devil came up and began to speak out of her voice like a man. And this woman was a member at one of the big churches Pentecostal churches in Jacksonville. And so I cast that devil out of her in Jesus Name, then I started questioning her. I said “Have you ever been in the occult, have you been to the fortune teller, have you been to the physic?” “No, no, no.” Do you know what it was Sid? Harry Potter books, she had bought…

Sid: Tell you what, we’re out of time we’ll pick up right here on tomorrow’s broadcast Mishpochah.

Sid: Now when you go to a doctor and whatever your problem is it seems they’ll say “It’s stress” or “It’s fear related.” And they’ll give you anti-anxiety drugs; they’ll give you all… it’s younger and younger and younger. My guest is Jonathan Bernis and we’re featuring his brand new coffee table book “Confessing the Hebrew Scriptures, The Lord is Peace.” And the word peace in shalom as we found out it means completeness in every promise of God. It’s like a magnet to draw the blessings of God to you. You will be able to almost instantly. And maybe and I don’t even need the word almost; there’s a CD that comes with it. You hear the promises of God about completeness in your life. And you hear it in Hebrew by a native speaking Israeli, then you read it in a transliteration fashion which allows you to instantly read and pronounce that Hebrew. And then you hear it in English; and then you can meditate on these promises. Jonathan, there’s a better way to combat anxiety and stress and worry and fear than medicines.

Jonathan: That’s right Sid; a doctor will prescribe anti-depressants or sedatives. We don’t need any of that because there is a prescription in the Word of God. Against anxiety, against tension; against stress, against depression and it’s confessing the word of God. We all know the scripture where Jesus says “Come unto me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon me and learn of Me for I am gentle and humble and you will find rest for your souls.” But we don’t find rest unless we get that truth into our spirit man. And the way that we do that according to Roman’s 10:17. “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Is to confess the scripture; to hear it day in and day out. And I will challenge anyone listening to confess that scripture in front of the mirror 20 times a day and watch what happens. Your anxiety begins to go to fade. The tension begins to disappear; the depression will lift; the stress will begin to come off of you it’s because the Word of God is alive Sid. But we have to activate it through hearing it and getting it into our spirits. And that’s why I’ve been doing these books because I believe in the power of confessing the word of God. Sid it works.

Sid: I have to tell you I interviewed recently Perry Stone and he told me the last prophetic word that his dad had before he went to heaven was that there are demons released on planet earth. Where people that are good believers will start getting thoughts of sexual sin and just things that they wouldn’t even want to have inside of them? And they wonder “Where is this coming from?” The prophesy was, only those that are speaking in supernatural languages will have a defense against this. And so if you do those two keys that Jonathan has been speaking about all week and that is speak in supernatural languages and confess God’s word. Meditate on God’s Word and I can’t explain this but there are frequencies in words and when you speak God’s Word in Hebrew you’re going into a heavenly frequencies. Musicians understand this; psalmists understand this; and God understands this. So when you put the 3 together and you confess God’s Word and meditate on God’s Word. This is a promise from God. “No weapon formed against you will prosper.” Not one, not one weapon formed against you will prosper. And as a matter of fact a lot of people see what’s going on Jonathan with the economy; with politics; with terrorism, with the natural disasters and they’re wondering what in the world is going on. But I look at it as the greatest time to be able to be a light in a dark world in the history of planet earth.

Jonathan: I agree with that Sid; you know what as you’re talking about the word that Perry’s father had it reminds me of the book of Jude. That’s the exact picture of the book of Jude. People are being overcome with sensuality; people are being overcome with wickedness; they’re caught up in the material plane. They’re working out things with their mind and they’re under this attack of the enemy. Then Jude exhorts us but you beloved you can build up your most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, praying in other tongues. And when you do that you’re building faith up; you’re building an immunity against the works of the evil one in our lives and you’re released into a supernatural realm where you have ears to hear and eyes to see what the spirit of God is saying. And confessing the word of God works the same way. “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.”

Sid: Tell me what’s in your inner most being you feel where we are prophetically in end-times.

Jonathan: Well, I’m not going to set any dates because everyone….

Sid: You don’t want to be stoned I know why, but go ahead. (Laughing)

Jonathan: Israel has been restored as a nation; Jerusalem is back under the hands of the Jewish people. The blindness is coming off the eyes of the Jewish people in greater numbers than ever before. And Sid I have the privilege of seeing something that most people don’t see and that is I’m traveling to places like Zimbabwe; Ethiopia; Manipur and Mizoram, India. I am encountering ancient Jewish tribes that are likely connected to the lost tribes of Israel and they’re receiving the gospel. Many of them are now going back to Israel; the Benei nemasha the children of Menasha in Manipur, India. We’ve been working with for years and have been wide open for the gospel.

Sid: Don’t the rabbi’s believe that the lost tribes have to be restored before the Messiah comes?

Jonathan: Absolutely, the scriptures are filled with prophecies that in the last days God would re-gather the remnant of Israel. Isaiah 11 is one of the greatest He says that “He’ll re-gather the outcasts of Israel. And it’s directly connected to the return of Jesus to this earth. We’re living in a prophetic time Sid. The last of the last days I’m sure of that.

Sid: Well, I’ll tell you what all this week Jonathan the presence of the God has been so strong within me and upon me. And I believe that’s it’s because of this tool that the Holy Spirit directed you to create; it’s a beautiful coffee table book hard back obviously. And the art work is so magnificent in this and you have the Hebrew scriptures. It’s written in Hebrew and then it’s transliterated and so anyone can instantly read the Hebrew. They sound like a native born Israeli and just in case they don’t you have a CD where a native born Israeli is reading this with beautiful music. Then you have the promises in English. This one is called “The Lord is Peace.” Which brings everything into focus to medicate on; because the word peace means completeness. In other words, complete in your spirit, in your soul and in your body. And you have the promises; you mediate on God’s word day and night. And what did God tell Joshua?

Jonathan: He told Joshua to mediate, to confess the word of God, to keep it in his mouth and he would be successful in everything that he did. And that is true today for everyone listening.
